Course Objectives:
The lecture will focus on the anatomic considerations and applications of autogenous soft tiusse grafts: free gingival, connective tissue, palatal, tuberosity.
​
We will also cover soft tissue allografts and xenografts with applications for teeth, dental implants and bulking out pontic sites.
​
The lecture will showcase presentations and discuss management of complicatoins.
​
Upon course completion, the participant will understand solutions for mucogingival defects, and have a better understanding of expected outcomes and treatment options.

About our speaker
Dr. Jeffrey Felzer was born and raised in Philadelphia. He graduated from the William Penn Charter School in 1995 and obtained his B.S. From the University of Wisconsin at Madison. After college, he returned to Philadelphia and received his dental degree from Temple University. He later completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Felzer completed his residency in Periodontology at the joint program between the New York VA Medical Center and New York University in 2008, his last year being designated as Chief Resident of the Department. Dr. Felzer was previously a clinical assistant faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Christiana Medical Center. Dr Felzer is a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and maintains a full-time private practice in Wilmington, Delaware.
